NIGHT DRIVING LENSES

See the Road, Not the Glare

IRISHARP Night Driving Lenses use three established technologies — multi-layer AR coating, high-contrast tint, and precision optics — to give you the clearest possible view after dark.

Multi-Layer Anti-Glare

Multi-Layer Anti-Glare

7-layer anti-reflective coating on both sides of the lens eliminates reflections from headlights, street lamps, and dashboards. No more squinting through your own lenses.

High-Contrast Optics

Engineered to enhance contrast in low-light conditions. Road signs, lane markings, and pedestrians designed to stand out more clearly — even on unlit rural roads. Individual experience may vary.

Halo & Starburst Control

Halo & Starburst Control

Standard lenses scatter light into halos and starbursts. IRISHARP's precision optics are designed to reduce these visual artifacts — point lights stay as point lights.

Polarized Option

Polarized Option

Optional polarized version cuts glare from wet roads, snow, and reflective surfaces. Doubles as a daytime driving lens for bright sun conditions.

Designed to Reduce Headlight Glare

IRISHARP Night Driving Lenses use a 7-layer anti-reflective coating on both sides of the lens, designed to reduce surface reflection compared to standard CR-39 lenses. Combined with a high-contrast tint engineered for low-light conditions, the lens is designed to deliver a clearer view of the road, the signs, and the unexpected. Individual experience may vary depending on conditions, prescription, and frame fit.

Night Driving vs Standard Lenses

What optimized optics actually deliver after dark.

Feature Standard CR-39 IRISHARP Night Driving
Headlight glare Severe, blinding Designed to reduce perceived glare
Halos & starbursts Strong around lights Designed to minimize
Low-light contrast Low, washed out Designed to enhance
Reflection on lens surface Visible (4–8% per surface) Designed for <0.5% per surface
Eye fatigue after night drive High Low
Daytime usability Good Excellent (polarized option)

How Night Driving Lens Design Works

At night, your pupils dilate to let in more light. That makes your eyes more sensitive to glare — the scattered light from oncoming headlights, street lamps, and reflective road signs. Standard lenses don't help; in fact, they can make it worse. Up to 8% of light reflects off each surface of a standard lens, creating halos, starbursts, and "ghost" images around every bright light.

IRISHARP Night Driving Lenses use a 7-layer anti-reflective coating on both sides of the lens, designed to reduce surface reflection. Combined with a high-contrast tint engineered for low-light conditions, the lens is designed to support clearer visibility of road signs, lane markings, and pedestrians without dimming the overall view. Individual experience may vary.

For drivers who want a single lens for day and night, IRISHARP offers a polarized version of the Night Driving lens. The polarization filter cuts glare from wet roads, snow, and reflective surfaces — making it a versatile all-weather driving lens. Choose between standard (night-optimized) and polarized (day + night) when you order.
